Thank you for joining SAFE’s Community Dad Shower. This event is designed to support positive fatherhood, healthy families, positive parenting, and violence prevention through connection, skill-building, fellowship, and community resources.

By participating in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in the Community Dad Shower is voluntary. I may choose whether to participate in any activity, game, discussion, parenting exercise, or other event activity.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that some event activities may involve physical movement, games, or other recreational activities and that participation may involve ordinary risks, including minor injury. I agree to participate within my own physical abilities and to follow event staff and volunteer instructions.

I understand that I am responsible for informing SAFE staff of any condition, limitation, or circumstance that may affect my ability to safely participate in an activity.

3. Release and Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless SAFE – Serving At-Risk Families Everywhere, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and representatives from claims arising out of my voluntary participation in the event, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which liability cannot legally be waived.

4. Personal Belongings

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings. SAFE is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the event.

5. Food and Refreshments

I understand that light refreshments may be provided at the event. I am responsible for informing event staff of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or other relevant concerns before consuming food or beverages provided at the event.

6. Giveaways and Resources

I understand that giveaways, educational materials, and community resources may be provided as part of the event. I acknowledge that SAFE does not necessarily manufacture, endorse, or guarantee the safety or suitability of third-party products or resources distributed at the event.

7. Emergency Medical Care

In the event of an emergency, I authorize SAFE staff or event personnel to seek appropriate emergency assistance on my behalf if I am unable to do so myself. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of an emergency or injury.
